What does a postpartum doula do?

A postpartum doula offers physical, emotional, informational, and hands-on support to new parents and their families during the postpartum period, often called the fourth trimester. Postpartum doulas can help you during the day or evening, daily or intermittently and hours can vary from 2-4 hours.

In-Home Services Offered ($55/hour):

• Provide physical, emotional support, educational and or practical support
• Assist with newborn care, changing diapers, bathing, feeding
• Help mother by giving her time to recuperate, relax and sleep
• Prepare simple meals/snacks for the entire family
• Meal Prep
• Light housework, dishes and other household chores family needs
• Organizing
• Laundry
• Sibling care
• Grocery Shopping
